2. When did you first develop an interest in music - who or what band inspired you to pick up a
guitar or a pair of drumsticks.

I’m not sure when it all happened, but I remember getting into Jimi Hendrix and Eric Johnson at an early age. I wanted to learn their songs, so I picked up a guitar and taught myself how to play. I still don’t know how to play their songs. But I continued to play guitar and started a few bands. Now I play bass in this band called Venaculas. Weird guys. Let me tell ya. I still play guitar everyday though. It’s fun.

3. What music do you listen to?

I listen to a wide range of music. I’ll go from 40 Below Summer to Jonny Lang then to Poison the Well. I love a lot of different styles of music. Jazz, Blues, Big Band, Hardcore, Classical, Acoustic Jam Bands, anything really. Nothing Country or stupid like Britney or Hilary Duff. Buff on Duff.

4. What do you like most about performing live?

Everything. It’s the weirdest thing. I get nervous before a show, get sick during the show, and not remember a thing after the show. It is just a constant cycle. Every single show is the same, in that context.
